findPeaks is the sonic alias of Mamoun El Bied, a Moroccan sound artist, multidisciplinary creator, and promoter based in Madrid. His work explores the intersection of texture, voice, and environment across national and international stages.

His primary focus is a fully dawless live performance combining electroacoustic composition and spoken word. Utilizing hardware synthesizers, live vocal looping, and field recordings, he weaves evocative soundscapes beneath original poetic prose—a setup that can also expand into a full A/V show with generative, audio-reactive visuals.

While sound art and live performance take center stage, he remains active in club culture as an eclectic DJ, navigating broken rhythms, atmospheric dub, and leftfield electronics. He is also a core member and booker of the Madrid collective Kommune.
