Maria Coma

Maria Coma (BCN-Berlín)

Singer, composer, pianist, and performing arts researcher with roots in Catalonia and Mallorca. After releasing five albums and touring Spain, Germany, and South America, she spent seven years in Berlin exploring experimental vocal techniques and traditional polyphonic singing.

In April 2024, she releases her sixth LP, Vocal Roots, through Foehn Records, focusing on her lifelong obsession: the voice and body as the first instrument. In November, she publishes VOCAL ROOTS rework 1&2 by SHOEG, a remix in collaboration with Carlos Martorell.

Her latest releases include two previously unpublished live recordings from 2015 at Barcelona’s iconic Sol de Sants studio: SCHÖNE STILLE I (January 14, 2025) and PARE (J.M. Serrat) (December 20), now officially released with Foehn Records.
